A dual-fuel hydrogen-diesel Gen 5 OKA prototype is set to trial Vytas’ GHOD system in some of the world’s harshest real-world conditions.
OKA Australia and Vytas have joined forces to demonstrate a breakthrough in hydrogen transport: Green Hydrogen On Demand (GHOD).
The partnership will see a dual-fuel diesel-hydrogen Gen 5 OKA developed as a rugged testbed for Vytas’ nanoporous silicon-powered system. With roots in Australian defence and mining, both companies aim to prove that safe, scalable hydrogen can cut emissions without compromising reliability.
The vehicle will serve as a prototype for future fleet deployment across mining, utilities, and critical infrastructure.
